Here’s what you need to know
- Go to your Facebook profile, select Settings and Privacy > Settings > Public posts > Comment Ranking > Edit to enable or disable comments ranking.
- Go to the Facebook page, select your admin page, then Settings > Comment Ranking to turn comments ranking on or off.
How To enable or disable Comment Ranking on your FB Profile?
Facebook profiles with so many followers have comment ranking switched on by default. Whereas Facebook profiles with lower reputations have to enable the feature manually. Regardless of your user type, here’s how you can enable or disable your comment ranking on your Facebook profile.

- Open Facebook, then click the profile on the top right corner.
- Select Settings and privacy.
- Click on Settings.
- Select Public Posts on the left pane.
- Then select Edit option seen beside the Comment Ranking.
- Toggle between On/Off and change it according to your convenience.
How to Enable Comment Ranking on a Facebook Page
If you are an admin of the Facebook page and expect to turn the comment ranking on/off, follow the below technique.
Be informed: The following steps are applicable only if you are an admin of the Facebook page. No ordinary users are allowed to toggle these options.
- Open Facebook, and click Pages on the left pane.
- Click on the Page you are an admin of and wish to organize.
- Now, Click on Settings on the left.
Suggestion: You can scroll down a little to find the desired option.
- Now, Click Comment Ranking.
- See most relevant comments by default – tick or untick the box depending on your desired choice.
- Click Save Changes and done.
- Your page has now been modified to the desired Comment Ranking settings.
When Does Facebook Turn On Comment Ranking?
All the Facebook pages have comment ranking turned on automatically on their account. When enabled, the admin of the page can use this feature to sort unseen comments to the page front. If disabled, the comments will be sorted by the most recently posted order by default.
Note: Comment ranking needs to be enabled for individual Facebook profiles.
